What does community mean in Web3?

Hi there! Found myself as Amerigo Vespucci in Web3 knowledge-sharing (just because I'm the first who asked smth =).

So, my question is about Web3 and its community-based governance processes. Can I say that community is an integral part of any Web3 project?

Hello! Community in Web3 is like usual group of people formed around common interests and goals through each iteration of the internet — with factors like platform, region, socioeconomic status, and education level, driving engagement within those communities. This group is empowered to be an actual part of decision-making team. In Web3 community is everything. One person can be a part of multiple communities.
